Autumn 2018 - Eye tests and glasses helping pupils and community

An extensive programme of eye testing was undertaken by Liz and David Woods and their son, medical student, Chris during their visit in March. Some of the pupils who had sight problems were given adjustable glasses. The school and the Woods have been working with the local Kwale District Eye Centre. This has resulted in a number of other pupils receiving treatment or glasses, including Saidi Shee who's medical condition makes his eyes sensitive to bright sunlight. Autumn 2018 - New classrooms nearing completion

The original classrooms served us well for nearly 25 years but they were starting to be unsafe. At the same time the growth in local housing saw a dramatic rise in the school population. Not great timing, but something had to be done! During the summer Joseph has organised the building work and we are hopeful the 2 new classrooms, one of which will be the Computer Lab, will be in use during the autumn.
